This is a place to send your prayers to the Fog god. She may not always respond, or she may respond in ways you don’t expect, but she is always listening.

Speak, she hears you.

OOC note: As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread. It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

Hello, this is Jyushimatsu! I am one of the Matsuno brothers! There are six of us, but you probably already know! Currently I am becoming a demon!

I have heard many things about you, some good, and some bad! Now, I come directly to the source! (I would have come sooner, but I didn't know how to reach you! I just found out!) I would like to know why you are hurting my brothers, and all these people! Why have we been taken from our homes and turned into monsters? What is the purpose? What is your greater plan, if you have one?

If you would please answer these questions, or at least talk to me, I will listen! I just want to know if you are our enemy! I also ask that you stop hurting my brothers! Many bad things have happened to us since we've been here, and it's not right! My brothers, the rest of the visitors, even the citizens of Ryslig... I'm sure most of them haven't done anything wrong! Why should they suffer?

Yes, I know of you and your kin. You are quite polite, aren't you?

I am not your enemy. You misunderstand. I did not bring you and your family here to harm you, but rather, empower you. To free you from the chains that held you all down in society, to allow you to live your lives to the fullest extent. I want you to be happy, my child.

As for the humans here. . .they are not as innocent as you would think. Do they not harm you, torture you? Fear you? Even before you were brought to this world, humans cared little for this land and each other.

But that is enough for now. Jyushimatsu, if you wish to keep your brothers safe, embrace your gift. Your flames will bring them warmth, and every soul you consume will give you the strength to protect them. Destroy anyone who raises a hand to you and yours.
