Prayer Box
Speak, she hears you.
OOC note: As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread. It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!
As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

Unless his normal form is "human, but cold," it doesn't seem like the wind will help.]

[Nefarian growls and takes a swipe at the wind, which predictably does nothing because it's wind.]
I am trying to communicate with you like a reasonable being! Use some words!

Child? [Even through her imperious tone, her amusement carries through loud and clear. She might have been offended - if this ex-drake could have lifted a finger against her.] Do you think us on even footing? You, the Earth-Warder's whelp, and a god?
[Despite her firm grasp on Nefarian's hair, she doesn't make any attempt to pull or yank at him. It seems like she mostly intends to keep him in place, something like grabbing the scruff of a yowling kitten.]
Make no mistake, boy. You are not human. I would not waste my time with such frail stock.

Probably if she'd wanted him dead she'd just cut his throat, so probably he should just hold very very still and try to be civil and calm and not freak the hell out.]
Madam. Good of you to join us.
[Oops, wait, sarcasm sometimes comes out of his mouth without his brain's permission. Quick, think of something else??]
I admit the parameters of this experiment confuse me. Surely, whatever your purpose, I was stronger in my original form.

Wait. You say this when you have yet to manifest the form I have chosen for you.
[ His head yanks up, as if to make him eye-level with her unseen form. ]
You dare to demand my presence while still frail, and make complaints.
[ You're not off the hook yet.
But her grip releases. The wind is a hiss at his ear— parting words. ]
When you have substance to your concerns, return to me.
