This is a place to send your prayers to the Fog god. She may not always respond, or she may respond in ways you don’t expect, but she is always listening.

Speak, she hears you.

OOC note: As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread. It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!

As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

[Ever since the hauntings, Ingway has had a lot of time to think. And a recent conversation with Madoka only added to it.

He's been told the gods' followers can travel through doors... so he places a hand on his loft apartment door and speaks aloud]

I have made it clear before that I harbor no love for you. You have plucked me from my well deserved death, an act I will never forgive.

Yet, I have spoken to your follower, Madoka. And her words and why she worships interests me. I respect her conviction and her power... but more then that I covet it.

A lust for both power and flesh runs in my blood, and I have no one living whom I love or who loves me. The only thing I long for is to return to my family in death and for the few I care a bit for to return to their peaceful lives. If it takes ending this madness between you and Liewin, then so be it. I have nothing left to lose and very few I would not bleed to get what I desire.

I think we could both benefit from working together.

[If Ingway is expecting mist to seep through the door, or for it to unseal to show him somewhere else, he'll be disappointed. But barely moments after he's done speaking, he'll feel a sensation on both his shoulders. Like someone brushing ghostly fingers over them. Just as quickly, it's gone.]

[When Ingway moves, he'll feel something reverberate off the back of his heel with a metallic cling - there's a key on the ground behind him.]
