Prayer Box
Speak, she hears you.
OOC note: As of April 2020, threads with the gods will be capped at three NPC replies! Please keep this in mind when writing god prayers to make sure you get everything you need out of the thread. It’s also possible to handwave prayers by titling your comment HANDWAVED PRAYER. Handwaved prayers lack our usual flourish, but you can expect a faster response!
As of February 2024, god prayers will be handwaved only. Please only submit a prayer if you have a question for either god which needs answering in order to progress your character's arc within Ryslig. If this is something you need to tier up within the god boon system, or just to set up a player plot in general, please don't hesitate to submit a prayer about it! You may shorten it down to an OOC summary of what your character is asking. This will allow any of our helper mods to reply much faster, without having to dig into the specifics of either god's personality/writing quirks. Should this limitation be lifted again in the future, this note will be removed.

Amidst the sound of the wind, footsteps can almost be heard. They approach Amanda, stopping barely a meter away from the woman, and from the fog a voice backed by hundreds whispers out:]
He is not the only one to love you.
[The sensation of a hand reaches towards Amanda's face, moving to run lightly down her hair. If she jerks back, the fog will not pursue her; if she remains still, the fog will stroke her hair as she speaks.]
You ask for what I desire? What I desire is to see you happy, my pet. [And her whisper, as imperious and intimidating as it is, does not sound insincere.] My wish, more than anything, is for you to be able to accept what you are. To know that the sins you dwell on are meaningless in my eyes. But... If purpose will bring you the absolution you seek, then purpose I will give.
[The presence draws away for a moment, and if the god's body were here it feels as if she would draw herself to her full height. When she speaks, her voice is clear and cold - almost regal in its delivery.]
Long, long ago, I condemned the humans of this place. They were weak, foolish things - as they still are. And when I brought my judgment upon them, no matter how they begged others to help, they were unable to lift a finger as their homes and families fell dissolved away. [Her voice hardens as she speaks, a cold anger in every word.] You wish to find purpose? Prove to me that I was wrong. Find me even one human worthy of my love, and you will have found miracles where I only saw dirt.
Find me a human who will not break, girl.
